warum in die Ferne schweifen...

warum in die Ferne schweifen... was a project to apply for a studio grant in New York also exhibited at the Helmhaus in Zurich 1997.

It consisted of four pieces:

_a painting with the text: Warum in die Ferne schweifen, wo doch hier die Aussichten so glasklar sind. (Why wander into the distance, when the views/perspectives here are so clear)

_a label, which labeled the space in the museum in Schaffhausen where I was awarded a show as part of the Manor Price.

_a kind of a model of a skyscraper made with frog-green flooring sheets in rubber, which I used in the show for the Manor Price to cover the floor in the museum.

_a photo I borrowed from a friend which depicts two female friends with funny hats at a strange party.
