Nach-Architektur (after architecture)

1997-98

Fire station, Canton of Schaffhausen, CH

Commission

Five architectural elements were developed and placed “onto” the architecture. These more or less visible “sculptures” were strategically put at the five most important key points of the design of the building.

One could "think away" the real architecture or building and the five sculptural elements will still show the formal and conceptual idea of the building.
